It is not hard at all. Most houses have a back yard. Some Communities have restrictions.

Hi Sheila, Peggy is right. You will have to look into a non-gated community with single family homes. Also, please keep in mind, we are facing a very strong rental market and a good home does not stay on the market for more than a week. You should be prepared to pay first month, last month and security deposit and even a pet deposit. I hope this helps. Good luck.

The Sunshine MLS does have a search field for pets, the number of pets allowed and the size requirements. Unfortunately, this is not a required field so if an agent is searching for a client with a 20 lb dog, the agent will have to call each listing agent to see what the restrictions are for that listing. I would suggest you a company that strictly handles annual rentals. Trying to search the MLS is, in my opinion, a waste of time.

It is not hard at all depends if you want to live in a country setting or in a community in a gated community you need to walk the dog in most cases and pick up after the dog.

There are many pet-friendly communities, but a fenced back yard is difficult to find in any gated community. Rentals that allow pets are also more difficult. If I can answer any other questions, feel free to contact me directly.
