The owners of the property may need time if they are living in the home to vacate; or if it is occupied by a tenant, they may need to give them notice. Good luck!!

Do I have a chance?I'm sure there is someone that would be willing to lease to you. Always be upfront on any situation; most everyone has had issues with either credit or job and can understand the place your in. I would not particulary stick with privately owned; I would try first to find what I want and can afford and then apply for it; after you start leasing, be sure you are on time every month as this will be an excellent reference in the future. My Father has Cancer.I know you are saying you don't have time to list with an agent but I do believe that is what you need to do. Be sure you have a home insection and I highly recommend purchasing a home warranty.
